··           Fairtrade coffee (from Nicaraguan Christian Co-operative) £4 per large bag, available at ‘teas /coffee’ table.

·           Abbey Church will be open during the summer. If you are able to ‘open and close’ for a week, please sign the list at the back of the church.

·           If you would be willing to help with Sunday morning Holiday Club in July or August, please speak to Joyce at the office. Material & ideas available.

·         Please come along to the Sunday Afternoon Teas in Abbey new hall in July from 2.30 – 4.30pm. Enjoy delicious home baking and meet up with friends. The proceeds this year will go to local and church charities. We look forward to seeing you all.  St Baldred’s will again be serving teas during August.

·           Dirleton Prayer Service is on Wednesday at 10.00am in the hall, followed
by coffee – all very welcome.

·         ROCK THE BOAT Holiday Club. Can you help with lunches for the leaders and their children on Tuesday 2 & Thursday 4 August, 12 – 1.30pm? Please speak to Eleanor Main

·         There will be an Art Exhibition in Abbey Church from 8th - 13th August during the week of 'Fringe by the Sea'. If anyone from the congregation would like to exhibit in this, please contact Andrina Wright or Wendy Portway.  If anybody is willing to help with teas, coffees & scones (either to bake or serve), please contact Joyce at the office.

·           Fringe by the Sea - Songs of Praise on Sunday 14 August at 4pm in the Belhaven Speigeltent at the harbour. Led by a Glasgow gospel choir, and includes community hymn singing. Tickets £5 (see Sheena after morning service next week). Come along. No Abbey evening service on 14 August.
