Bethany’s Walk for
Homelessness is on Saturday 7 September. If you would like to sponsor the group who
are walking or give a donation please sign the form at the back of the church
or at the ‘teas’ table or contact Joyce.
Bible Society Coffee Morning on Saturday 7 September, 10 00am – 12 noon
in St Baldred’s Church. Proceeds to Good Samaritan programme for helping HIV/
AIDS victims. Donations of baking,
preserves, books, bric-a brac, etc. welcome and can be handed in on Saturday or
on Friday between 7 & 8.30pm
Alpha - Peter Kimber is proposing to run an Alpha course
this autumn, starting on Sunday 29 September and ending on 24 November. It
would be run in Dirleton Kirk Hall at 11.00 am. Abbey members would be welcome to
attend the Dirleton service and join us for coffee followed by the Alpha course.
