Scottish Summer

Some people call today 'mid-summer', others say it is the first day of summer.
It is the Summer Solstice - and so the 'longest day' (of daylight hours).
But the weather we've been having - and the forecast for the rest of the week?
I'm just pleased that in the Bible, rain is seen as a blessing, and God sends his rain on all, regardless of how good or otherwise they are (Matthew 5:45).
Enjoy your summer, wherever you are!

Fringe by the Sea

North Berwick and district has always been a very popular holiday destination - from day trips to fortnights. Whether you like the beach, sailing, bird life and nature, golf, walking . . or good food, this area is for you!
In recent years, August has seen an influx of visitors coming for the music & arts festival week, the Fringe by the Sea. This year's programme & tickets are now available, and can be seen here. Please note especially the Gospel Choir 'Songs of Praise' on Sunday 14th August at 4pm.
