Kalimpong news

Dear Rev. David Graham,
Greetings from Kalimpong!!!
Just to inform you all that after the 18th. September, 2011 earthquake till now we were engaged in the restoration work of Macfarlane Memorial Church. As you all know we were having our church services at the Kalimpong Girls school Centenary hall. Its taken us nearly two years , and we still have some vital restoration work still pending which we propose to do phase wise in the days ahead. With the inner portion and tower section restoration of our church completed, we are having a thanks giving prayer service tomorrow at 11.00 a.m. The bells will also start chiming and its going to be a very blessed day tomorrow for not only our church members, but I am sure the whole of Kalimpong will be thrilled to hear the church bells chiming again after such a long time!!
The major church restoration work is over, and we must thank you all for your generosity in providing financial support, that we can now start using the church for our church services.
Do keep us in your prayers as we step tomorrow to the hallowed church premises after nearly two years to say THANK YOU OH LORD!! for all your Blessings!!
With our every good wishes to all at Abbey Church & Dirleton Kirk.
Warm regards.Miku
Dr Miku Foning

Dear Rev. Graham,
We had a wonderful thanks giving service today.Words can not describe the feeling when we heard the church bells chiming after two years and two months. We start using the church for Sunday service from tomorrow.
With our warmest regards and good wishes.
