·         Joint meeting of Abbey & Dirleton Kirk Sessions in Abbey Church on Monday 16 January at 7.00pm.

·         Articles for inclusion in Abbey and Dirleton Newsletters for February should be emailed or handed in no later than Tuesday 17 January.
Newsletters will be available for distribution on Sunday 29 January.

·         Thank you to all who contributed to the recent special collections.
Christmas collections amounted to Abbey £1038, Dirleton £710, total £1748 divided equally (£874) between Mary’s Meals and the Homeless.
Donations to the Church of Scotland HIV/AIDS Project for Coffee and Cake  last Sunday were Abbey £313 and Dirleton £73.

·         Coffee and Cake will be served after Dirleton and Abbey services today with donations to the Church of Scotland HIV/AIDS Project.

·         To ensure availability (and heating) would all Abbey hall users please enter future dates and times in the 2012 Halls Booking Diary (in the corridor opposite the west door).

·         Life & Work  - If you would like to continue (or start) to receive a copy each month, annual payments in advance of £17.40 are due now. Please speak to Nancy Chisholm or Joyce at the office. Cheques payable to ‘Abbey Church’.

·         REGAL - Thursday 12 January at 12noon in Abbey old hall. Michael Hill will talk on the Bo’ness and Kinneil Steam Railway. All ladies and gentlemen are most welcome. A soup & sandwich lunch will be served afterwards.

·         Youth Alpha starts at lunchtimes on Wednesday 12 and Thursday 13 January in the Drama Room at North Berwick High School. Volunteers are needed to make up rolls for lunch time each week. If you can help please speak to Zandra Main or Joyce at the office.

·         North Berwick Day Centre Coffee Morning is on Saturday 14 January from 10am – 12noon in the Hope Rooms. Donations of baking, bric-a-brac etc would be welcome and can be handed in from 9.00am.
