Back to School with God Sunday - Prayer


Sunday Afternoon Teas (hosted by St Baldred’s Church) in Abbey new hall today from 2 – 4.30pm. Enjoy delicious home baking and meet up with friends.

We would like Abbey church to be open during the week. If you are able to ‘open and close’ please sign the list at the back of the church.

Prayer - a short gathering for prayer each Sunday morning in Abbey new hall from 10.00am to 10.15am, prior to the morning service. This is open to all.

Dirleton Prayer Service is on Wednesday 10.00am in the hall, followed by coffee – all very welcome.

North Berwick & District Churches Association open meeting ‘What kind of Scotland do we want’ on Thursday 28 August at 7.30pm in Abbey Church. Speaker is Elaine Duncan, Director of Scottish Bible Society. All welcome.

Harvest Appeal
Our Harvest Appeal (service on 28th September) will be to collect coins to help with catering equipment and children's meals for the new school in Nimbong (Kalimpong), India. Jam jars are available now as collecting jars.

Bible Society Coffee Morning on Saturday 23 August from 10.00am - 12noon in Abbey Church halls.  Proceeds to the Swaziland Project.
Donations of baking, preserves, books, bric-a-brac, etc. welcome and can be handed in on Friday between 5.30pm and 6.00pm or on Saturday from 9.00am.
