·           Dirleton Annual Stated Meeting is in the hall after the service today.

·         Bob Kane is leading the morning service at Abbey while David chairs the ASM at Dirleton.

·         Would distributors please collect Abbey Newsletters today.

·           Caitriana and Phil Spencer are cycling 41 miles on Saturday 12 May in aid of Christian Aid. If you would like to sponsor them there are forms at the back of Abbey church and at the ‘teas’ table.

·           House Group on Tuesday 1 May at 7.00pm at 11 Ben Sayers Park.
Just come along – all are welcome.

·           Dirleton Prayer Service is on Wednesday at 10.00am in the hall, followed
by coffee – all very welcome.

·           Abbey Annual Stated Meeting is on Sunday 13 May following the morning service. Copies of Trustees Report and Accounts are available today.

·        Guild Summer Outing has been arranged for Tuesday 12th June leaving Abbey Hall at 2pm. Tea will be taken at the Eyemouth Golf Club at 5pm. Transport to be arranged when numbers are known. Names to Zandra or Eleanor Main or Joyce at the office.

·           CHRISTIAN AID - Help Wanted!
Volunteers are required to deliver Christian Aid Envelopes (no collection!) and for the Can Collection.  If you can help please speak to Liz Harrison, Liz Keddie or Joyce at the office.  Thank you! Tickets for Christian Aid fundraising ‘Cheese & Wine’ and ‘Super Supper’ are now available from Joyce at the office.

·         Tubes of ‘Smarties’ are available (free!) today to be enjoyed and then coins saved in the empty tubes for Christian Aid. (Last year raised almost £1000!)

·           Dirleton Prayer Service is on Wednesday at 10.00am in the hall, followed
by coffee – all very welcome.

·           Come along and quiz candidates for the 2012 Local Government Election at the Public Hustings Meeting on Tuesday 24 April at 7.30pm in St Andrew Blackadder. Written questions in advance to Abbey or STAB church offices or nbdachustings12@gmail.com

·           Choir practice on Thursday 26 April at 8.00pm in Abbey new hall – all who enjoy singing are welcome.

·           Bethany Thanks & Praise - reviews and updated of Bethany’s work – is on Thursday 26 April at 7.30pm in St Paul’s & St George’s Church, EdinburghPlease speak to Joyce at the office if you would like to go.

·         Donations from the church breakfast and hot cross buns after Abbey service today will go to Mercy Ships ‘Big Breakfast’

·         Abbey Church will be open during April.  If you are able to ‘open and close’ please sign the list at the back of the church.

by coffee – all very welcome.

·           Unicef Coffee Morning in the Hope Rooms Saturday 14 April, 10. – 12noon Donations of baking, bric-a-brac, books, etc can be handed in from 9.00am.
