Handel's Messiah - It
is planned to arrange a block of tickets for the annual performance of Handel's
Messiah in the Usher Hall on Wednesday 2 January 2013 commencing at 12 noon. Tickets
will cost around £16 and anyone interested should contact Robert Burgon

13 December at 12 noon. As it is our Christmas
meeting, it will take a slightly different format. Andrew Scott, the well known
and popular bass, will sing some ballads and songs from Gilbert & Sullivan.
Afterwards we will sit down to a soup and
sandwich lunch.
