Stated Meeting is today following the morning service.

the Annual Report are available at the back of Abbey church.
We would like Abbey church to be open during the week. If you are able to

Dirleton
Prayer Service is on Wednesday 10.00am in
the hall, followed by coffee – all very welcome.
Pens (at only
50p!) for the 40th Anniversary project to
build an Assembly hall at Bishop Kivengere Girls School Muyebe, Uganda , are for
sale today at Abbey from Margaret Ann Crawford or Joyce at the office.
East Lothian
Food Bank. Many thanks to all who have donated
provisions – they are very much appreciated. There is special request for the
following items: tinned meat, custard or rice pudding, tinned fruit, longlife
milk & fruit juice and sponge puddings.

group of 7adults and 3 children from St Andrew Blackadder's twinned church in Gangtok , Sikkim ,
India
is visiting STAB church from Friday 25 April to Monday 5 May. There is an open
meeting for anyone who would like to meet them in the chapel of STAB church on
Thursday 1 May from 7.30-9.00pm.
Traidcraft
goods will be available next Sunday, 4 May.
CHRISTIAN AID- Help Wanted!
Volunteers are required to deliver Christian Aid Envelopes (no
collection!) and for the Can Collection at Tesco on Friday 9 May, in
town on Friday 16 May & Saturday 17 May. If you can help please speak to
David McColl, Bill McClure, Liz Keddie or Joyce at the office. Thank you!
Tubes of
Smarties are available (free!) today to be enjoyed and then
coins saved in the empty tubes. (Last year raised £1700!)
Tickets for Christian Aid fund raising ‘Cheese & Wine’ on Tuesday 13 May are now available from
Bill McClure or Joyce at the office.
