· The People’s Bible is a national tour which will produce a unique, hand written edition of the Bible in the year of the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible. On Friday 26 August between 10.00am and 4.00pm the Peoples Bible is in St Andrew Blackadder Church vestibule where people will be able to write a couple of verses. Volunteers from Abbey & Dirleton are required there from 11.00am – 12noon & from 12 noon - 1.00pm. Please contact Patsy Pitkeathly or Joyce at the office if you can help.
· Bethany ’s Walk for Homelessness on the Water of Leith Walkway (11 miles from Currie Kirk to Ocean Terminal) is on Saturday 10 September. If you would like to take part please speak to Joyce at the office.
