· Blythswood Shoebox Appeal – If you do not have a shoebox to fill there are empty boxes and leaflets available in Dirleton and Abbey or from the office.

by coffee – all very welcome.

· An Alpha Course in Dirleton Kirk Hall today from 11.00am till noon.
· Shop early for Christmas! New design of Christmas Cards and Notelets for sale at Dirleton (£3.50 for pack of 10) Commemorative mugs in 2 designs (£5.50 each). Beautiful limited edition mounted signed prints (£70).
· Church Membership. If you are interested in church membership, please speak to the Minister. There will be an opportunity for this over the winter.
· The flat screen TV in Abbey hall has been removed. If anyone knows its whereabouts, please contact the office.
· Many thanks to all who contributed to the harvest appeal for water – over £1100 was raised.
· Bible Sunday October 30th 2011 - Ecumenical Service in St Baldred’s Church at 6.00pm. Followed by refreshments. Also as a Celebration of the Quater Centenery of the King James’ Bible, there will be an opportunity to display any interesting and or historical bibles which any of you can bring. (please attach a short explanation with your contribution). Bring a little early – for info contact Patsy Pitkeathly.
