Pentecost

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.
Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.
They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.
All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues
as the Spirit enabled them.

The visitors from India are safely home. A huge' thank you' to all who definitely rose to the challenge. Over 100 knitted jumpers and hats were completed for India. Not all have been taken, but I am hopeful of a means of getting the others out, along with the toiletries, pencils etc. It was a great effort by all. For those who wish to continue knitting, these items can be used at Rugerama hospital in Uganda or they can be sent with the shoeboxes in November. There is always a need somewhere.
