Abbey Annual Stated Meeting is today following the morning service. Copies of the Annual Report are available at the back of Abbey church.

Articles for inclusion in the next Abbey and Dirleton Newsletters should be emailed or handed in by Monday 13 May.
Newsletters will be available for distributors on Sunday 26 May.

Dirleton Prayer Service is on Wednesday at 10.00am in the hall, followed by coffee – all very welcome.

Concert by the Hadley Court Singers in aid of Music for Malawi - Saturday 1st June at 7.30pm in Abbey Church (includes Faure Requiem).

CHRISTIAN AIDHelp Wanted!

TUESDAY 14 MAY Cheese and Wine Evening in Our Lady Star of the Sea Hall at 7.00 pm. All welcome. Tickets or pay at the door.
WEDNESDAY 15 MAY Coffee Morning in Dirleton Kirk hall 10.30-12 noon with a Bring and Buy Stall.
FRIDAY 17 MAY Quiz Night in Hope Rooms at 7.30 pm.  To book a table telephone North Berwick 893934.
SATURDAY 18 MAY Coffee Morning in Hope Rooms, 10-12 noon.  Baking, Bric-a-Brac and Raffle.  Display of Children’s Art Work.

Art Workshop for Christian Aid on theme “Bite Back at Hunger” – led by Ann Gardner on Saturday 25 May, 1.30pm – 4.30pm in Abbey Church new hall. Cost £15 – includes afternoon tea. To book a place or for more information, please phone Ann on 01620 895231. (Participants will need to bring their own drawing & watercolour equipment. Watercolour paper will be provided.)

Copies of the Christian Aid Quiz (£1) are available at the ‘teas table’.

Filled ‘Smartie Tubes’ can be handed in today or next Sunday or the office.

Shiona Liddle's Inspire Youth Trust drama group are performing Shakespeare in Abbey Church this summer. They need to raise about £500 to hire special lighting equipment to make it more atmospheric (a donation of £100 has already been made). If anyone is willing to donate, please leave a donation at the office or in the basket at tea and coffee after the service.
