·           Sunday Afternoon Teas (hosted by St Baldred’s Church) in Abbey new hall today from 2 - 4.30pm. Enjoy delicious home baking and meet up with friends

·           Articles for inclusion in Dirleton Autumn Newsletter should be emailed or handed in by Tuesday 21 August.
Dirleton Newsletters will be ready for distribution on Sunday 2 September.

·           Dirleton Prayer Service is on Wednesday at 10.00am in the hall, followed
by coffee – all very welcome.

·            Music for Malawi Fundraising Events

Saturday 25 August – Coffee Morning – Hope Rooms
Saturday 1 September – “Round the World” Dinner at Dirleton Gallery - £25

·           The Guild Presbyterial Council meets on Monday 3 September at 7.30pm in Tranent Parish Church. The speaker will be the Rev Russell McLarty.

·           Jacob’s Well – a new look at a series of studies about our spiritual journey towards healing – led by Bob Kane at 5 Clifford Road, starting on Thursdays from 6 September at 7.30pm. All welcome.

·           Bible Society Coffee Morning is on Saturday 8 September. If you are able to help please speak to Hilda Kimber, Patsy Pitkeathly or Zandra Main.

·           Bethany’s Walk for Homelessness is on Saturday 8 September with 3 levels of walks from 3.5 to 10.5 miles. If you would like to take part (or for more information) please speak to Liz Harrison or Joyce at the office.
