Christmas Shoe Box Appeal – If you do not have a shoe box to fill there are empty boxes and leaflets available at Dirleton and Abbey or from the office.

Please try to include the essential items listed.

Articles for inclusion in Abbey Newsletter for November should be emailed or handed in by 14 October.

Newsletters will be available for distribution on Sunday 27 October.

We would like Abbey Church to be open during the day. If you are able to ‘open and close’, please sign the list at the back of the church.

Abbey Guild meets on Tuesday 15 October at 7.30pm. A Fellowship to Build’ - Dr David Graham. All are very welcome – do come and join us.

Dirleton Prayer Service is on Wednesday at 10.00am in the hall, followed

by coffee – all very welcome.

Test of Faith - Introduction in Abbey hall on Wednesday 16 October at 7.30pm – all welcome.

Christian Aid ‘A close shave with the razorblade of life’ with Mike Millar

Saturday 26 October at 7.30pm in St Andrew Blackadder Church Hall

An evening of entertainment with music and chat from Mike along with cheese and wine. Tickets £8 (to include a welcoming drink) from the office.
