Abbey Harvest Appeal – If you have been
filling a water bottle with coins for the Water Project please hand it in

Abbey Evening services re-start this
evening at 6.00pm (until end December 2013) Theme is Hard Questions of Faith.
We would like Abbey Church
to be open during the day. If you are able to ‘open and close’, please sign the
list at the back of the church.
Abbey Kirk Session is holding an open meeting
in the Church on Monday evening to hear what the wider Church is thinking about
the ordination of gay & lesbian people to the ministry. This will start at
7.30pm with worship and a simple communion. Two other ministers will be coming
to help us think through the issues involved. All are welcome to this.
Christmas Shoe Box Appeal – Come along
and help cover shoeboxes with Christmas paper on Tuesday 8 October at 2.00pm
in Abbey new hall.
Please bring any empty shoeboxes,
wrapping paper, scissors etc.
